Fighting

The US-Israel War on Iran is going to drive the soaring oil price. So far, the US has no good plan to retreat from the fight zone because of the control conflict on oil trade through the Strait of Hormuz.     Carpool commuting, limiting the number of days on the road in some zones against the impending fuel shortage, and facing the rise in the price of oil consumption.    Working from home is a good choice, or biking and taking public transportation to shuttle can be considered.

Social Connection

Social media connections are common nowadays. Email, Line, and Facebook Apps are popular and free among users. The percentage of social media connections is rising, and instead of telephone bills. Even though we can't ignore the landline phone in case of an emergency.       With the innovation of electrical technology, the related products were soon replaced. The elderly are used to regular routines and can't adapt to technology replacement. Not only the elderly but also the youth might not waste too much money and have no time to hang out on free apps.       Free social media apps are designed for business and for long-distance connections. Free chats on apps for family are absolutely right. With sincerity, connecting by telephone and letters helps formal occasions and friendships. Then, avoid misunderstanding.

Heat

Extreme heat and rising temperatures have driven people to prefer indoor activities to outdoor ones. People over 65 now stand severe heat for 900 hours each year, compared to 600 hours in 1950.  ====       For health, in the summer, the elderly are safer indoors than outdoors. For rising temperatures, doing basic physical activities indoors helps stay active. Night activity is also a better choice than day.

Politics

The news that a former Taiwanese coach was removed from an Asian Cup football match, leading a crowd in chants that included the word " Taiwan." And not "Chinese Taipei." ====       Taiwan is used to the name " the Republic of China." Some groups prefer "Taiwan" to specify the country of China. But some groups insist on the word "Chinese" to describe Taiwan because of the sensitive international political problem. Some international officials have been in progress. "Chinese Taipei" instead of "Taiwan" under consideration might help to avoid sensitivity.       The quarrel between the People's Republic of China and Taiwan has been lasting for decades. In previous experiences, using the name Taiwan might have disqualified it from the international matches.       If people know the quarrel between the two countries, they won't be surprised that the coach was kicked out then. Or it might help people know the...

Right

A survey on gender roles in Gen Z found that the husband takes the position of the final words, with a percentage higher than that of the baby boomers.       How do you think?       In  World War II ,  many men died. After that, baby boomers came. Some families have no males in the household. Women had to play roles to make final decisions in the home, in activities, and on some public occasions.        Gen Z is in the age of peace, most men are in power for business, and women take care of the family.       The reasons might be attributed to the percentage change.

Penalty

Recently, some bad news from Taiwan: In Yilan City, a driver was driving when an accident, and the driver's car crashed. One female was hit and died, and one person was injured in the accident. The police said that the driver tested positive for the drug.       The discussion of the case is on the penalty in Taiwan, which might be too light.        What do you think?       The cause of the incident of the Independence of the United States might be considered.

Greeting

Hello, Hi, and How are you? And so on,  related words are very common greeting.  No matter what roles you are in, or what persons you meet. Some people like to specify these greeting words just for greeting. The greeting speakers don't want the addressees' response.          How do you think?           I don't think so. The saying is too arbitrary and very rude. It should be judged by who you meet and what situation you encounter. For example, the speakers and the addressees are strangers passing by. Of course, Hi, Hello, and How are you? Greeting each other is a good manner. No more responses are right. But if one of them likes to cheer more, and the other has time to say more words, why not?           How do you think about my opinion?          Let's take more examples. If it's in class, the teacher and all the students know each ot...
