Maintenance
Water shortage has become a concern in Taiwan because life depends on water. Taiwan is surrounded by the ocean, where seawater evaporates, forms clouds and rain naturally, and seasonal cycles occur. There are sufficient rainy days for daily water use, but the sediments and siltations of the dam and reservoir. Maintaining produces efficient water recycling systems might help. There are dams and reservoirs in the rainy areas of Taiwan, not only for daily water supply, but also for scenery. Some are protected reservation areas. If the fertility rate predicts a sharp fall in Taiwan, there will be less daily water use and no new construction areas; instead, sediment removal and siltation control of the original dams and reservoirs will help retain the historical countryside for generation continuity. And then, the government's financial solid plan adds the welfare.
